If you are traveling to Thailand for the first time or the 100th it’s nice to know that there will be someone waiting for you at the airport to get you to your destination. Mr. Toom’s taxi service is very reliable and reasonably priced. There are taxi stands and private cars for hire but they usually charge much more and the taxi drivers will try to rip you off sometimes by not turning on the meter and or claiming it to be broken. Even if they are honest about the meter and tolls they will give you a never ending sales pitch for women, massage parlors, and gems.

Mr. Toom charges a flat fee of 1200 baht to your destination and 1000 baht return to the airport which is quite reasonable and includes all tolls and gas. He has many drivers and the ones I have had were very friendly and got me to my destination safe and sound.

I’ve used Mr. Toom to get to Bangkok and Pattaya….and considering Pattaya is almost 2 hours away from the new airport the cost of 1200 baht ( $34.00 ) is well worth it.
