		<description>This is very true but the corporations headed there to sell franchises in the first place. I'm not against the Thais getting ahead it's just very disappointing to see some place like Thailand get Americanized. At least the 7/11's and Family marts sell 99% Thai foods and snacks. It's also very true that in the rural area's you won't find McDonald's ....yet.</description>

		<description>All of the chains you have mentioned are in fact franchises owned by Thai corporations or business men and women. Yes Mcdonald's make money from the franchise fees but the real winners are the people who spent the capital to invest in the franchise. It's not just Americans forcing this culture on everyone but crafty local businesses who know they can make a buck or a baht.</description>
