Thai women think white women are gorgeous and want to emulate them...just as white women want to look more like Asian women with brown skin and full lips. Most of the Thai girls I've known don't use the various whitening products but still they will use whiter makeup to get the illusion of being whiter. The down side of that is when you take a picture of them with a flash...they look absolutely ghostly in some cases. For someone as naturally radiant as your Thai girl to feel the way she does about her appearance is a sure sign that her problem lies within her mind. Just look at Michael Jackson. He could afford the very best and look what plastic surgery did for him. He was downright ghastly looking. If I was a child and saw him coming toward me I'd probably die of fright... and I'm talking about when he was alive. Once you get on the plastic surgery treadmill you can't get off. Joan Rivers? Jocelyn Wildenstein? The Bogdanov Twins? Anyway, I wonder what kinds of chemicals are in those whitening creams? I saw one lady working at the front desk of the Miami Hotel in Bangkok who had permanent damage from using that crap for so long. Her skin looked horrible. Once you combine an addictive personality, someone who has bad self-image issues and some money, then you have the potential for serious trouble.
