Small Neighborhood Temple in Bangkok

One day while in Bangkok I decided to take the river boat taxi up the Chao Phraya River to it’s last stop and just get off and explore. At the last stop you walk down a narrow plank of wood through a tiny tarp covered market into a nice little neighborhood. About half way up the lane I spotted this small temple complex.

It’s a very beautiful Wat ( temple ) with very ornate features. It was closed for the evening but several of the monks said I could come in and take pictures. Even for a very small Wat every attention was paid to detail from the very ornate eaves to the inlaid doors. A great find that made my day.
