I dislike the hordes too so take off once it gets claustrophobic. There are several small floating markets around worth the visit. There is a lot of beauty to be seen that’s for sure. I should have hopped off the boat and hung out at one of the bridges for a while but unfortunately it was getting ever more crowded with tourists and the good shots were dissipating fast.

Hi Talen, great post on what to avoid when going to the floating markets in Thailand. I'm a floating market fan as the photos are just so beautiful.
