Very true words. On the family farm last month all the neighborhood kids came over to play. They had a ball for hours first playing in a mound of dirt and then playing with paper…making boats and planes.

Oddly enough the cute one above in pictures does cry and throw tantrums….only when she can’t go walking , which she loves.

They can twist you around their little fingers! Love them. Whereas kids in the West overdose on sensation and accumulating possessions to the point that they become increasingly immune, and nothing is interesting any more. Boredom sets in as soon as you amputate the X-box controls from their hands. Thai kids retain that sense of interest and fascination way past the age you would find the average British kid slumped in front of the tv, moaning he’s got nothing to do.

Have you noticed how rare it is to hear Thai children cry or complain, throw a tantrum…

Talen, It seems the world over that little girls love to wear big shoes. Only the other day our little visitor was stomping around the house in high heels which didn't go down to well with MTF bearing in mind how Thais feel about shoes. Mikes last blog post..A Thai Boy and the Premiership.
