I read Thailand Fever last year. I thought it gave a unique perspective from the Thai side of the relationship that I really hadn't considered. I think Thailand Fever helps with the initial tick and tock but only time and patience really helps the understanding.

Talen once again a well scripted post. I reckon that if you move into someone else's culture then you have to give a whole lot more than you can expect to get back. In Thailand you have to make a great effort to come to their way of thinking rather than vice versa, but they need to make a little leeway as well. Talen, What a well-crafted review. Nice. I enjoyed reading Thailand Fever. Even for Western women, it is a decent read. For Thai language learners, it would be an interesting project to read the Thai and English side by side.
