Too funny Martyn...It very well may be a situation of no bunny no honey. There is probably a way or two involving complicated shipping and dry ice but at some point it becomes very cost prohibitive.

A sample of working class English humour fuelled by a boring 12 hour shift of overtime, 20 cigarettes and a few beers.

'No bunny, no honey.'

Only joking but I've wracked my brains and there really is no answer. After the long flight you face that rabbit is gonna look like a pile of buffalo d##g.

Good luck on that, Talen. I can offer you a motivational speech. How about: Get the bunny! If you want to keep your Original Equipment intact, whole and live happily ever after. (Here's hoping Pookie doesn't read English so well!)

'I’ll bring you a box my next trip…'

Thanks! But, perhaps it is not a good idea. I am weak.

When I moved to the US, I went crazy with the chocolate boom booms and bang bangs and such.

I even gained ten pounds.

Sure, we had snacks where I came from - a three tiered tray loaded down with goodies was generally rolled out during the morning and afternoon teas - so perhaps the drugs added to American foods changed things?

Drugs crying eaaaaaaaaaaaat meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee...

You can't have Pookie run a chocolate bunny shop...that's like letting the drug addict prescribe medicine.

I guess Devil Dogs never reached the esteemed position that Twinkies did...but you can lean about them here...http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Drake%27s

and see pictures here or even better buy them...

Drugs. I guess you are right. But it's not something in the news out here like it is out there. And I know what Twinkies are, but devil dogs? Sounds really, really bad.

'If only someone would open up a chocolate bunny shop in Mukdahan I would have it made.'

There you go. Pookies next project - open up a chocolate bunny shop.

This company might show you the way (or even whip some up for you) http://www.crasiathai.com/

Come on Cat...all food is made of drugs anymore...just look at Twinkies and devil dogs.

I've noticed Christmas decorations for sale in Issan in April so nothing surprises me anymore. If only someone would open up a chocolate bunny shop in Mukdahan I would have it made.

I might just have to fly there...

Western Easter Bunnies now have drugs? Will wonders never cease...

In my day...

When I was growing up, I was in a country that did not celebrate Easter with special chocolates like they do in the US. So instead of hunting for coloured Easter eggs and chocolate foil wrapped shapes (eggs, bunnies, etc), we gathered in huge bars of Cadburys instead.

Let us know if your bunny makes it to Issan. Thinking... the Emporium in BKK might have chocolate bunnies around Easter and months after, but I don't know how long after. I often notice chocolate Santas at weird times of the year, but they are not as popular as bunnies so there is that.

You're not helping, Cat!

I do like the suggestion of taking it there personally though...but I fear the poor rabbit would meet an untimely demise at my hands during the 17 hour flight.

I do have one thing going for me. Easter bunnies have hard core preservatives in them to keep them from melting and if the stars align and the gods are with me there is a chance that the blob that arrives will still resemble an animal of sorts.
