Sexy! Lam is so cool ! I am speechless. Lam Morrison, he is on my list of must see when I next go to Bangkok. I have never being to Pattaya, but if I must a visit will be in order just to hear this “Master” play and his style is, well look. Hm! I wish I had read this article two weeks ago as the Phuket Blues Festival has just finished. Lam played. Oh we need to hear him again in Phuket very soon please!

Cat, lam does play at the Rock Pub often and if you should get the chance check him out. He also used to have his own club in Pattaya but it closed.

Talen, Lam also performs at the Rock Pub in Bangkok.

I don’t often go because the good bands don’t start until after midnight sometimes. I’m a wimp. Unless I’m on an insomniac roll, I’m fast asleep at 11pm.

Now that you’ve mentioned him, I will check the roster at the Rock Pub to see when he’s next appearing. And fingers crossed I can stay up that late if he does grace us with his presence.

Martyn, I have been to wonderful bar and enjoyed the band but I don’t recall a masked guitarist…then again I was paying attention to the band at the time.

Pattaya really does have some great live music…one of my favorite house bands plays at Rolling Stone 2 bar on walking street….amazing singers and musicians.

There are also a few really good Filipino bands around town that play at several of the restaurants.

Do check out Lam live you will definitely have a good time.

Talen I must admit to not having heard of Lam Morrison but the Blues Factory I have. Pattaya is great for live music and stretching my memory I recall a place on 2nd Road called the Wonderful Bar which had a really good live band although their name escapes me.

The lead singer and guitarist had a mask over his face and all sorts of reasons as to why he wore it were bandied about. Severe burns was the most common one but I never did find out the truth. Do you remember him, he’s probably still playing there now.

I will check out Lam Morrison on my next trip to Pattaya.

WOW…Pattaya isn’t a normal stop for me in Thailand, but after seeing those vids I think it’s time to make the trip down there to the House of Blues. Lam absolutely rocks out! Thanks for bringing this talent to my attention Talen. Now I have one more reason to get back to the LOS ASAP!
