i can see why and we don’t need a meter of snow in the uk for the whole system to start to fall apart
leave the Europe for Thailand and get back some of those years lost in traffic jams and endless hours spent on hold at some call center

Martyn, it will be at least ten years before I even want to think about snow again. In less than 4 days we have gotten 60 inches of snow and now stand at over 70 inches for the winter and now another snowstorm is being forecast for this coming Monday!

Talen I do wonder if the cold and snow of our winters is the heat and humidity of a Thai’s April. The snow looks attractive to a lot of Thai’s because it is in stark contrast to the high temperatures they face during their summer months. Perhaps in ten years time you’ll have the urge to take a winter break in Maryland just for a change in weather.

Well, Talen, it looks like the continent has turned upsidedown. We're getting a light dusting up here in Toronto, but it's the first "real" snow of the season. Way down in Maryland, you're getting dumped on. Again. Mike "MTF has this ambition to visit a country with snow-I might send her to the UK and stay here!" has the right idea! Needless to say, I really, really miss Thailand right now. And if all goes well, this will be my last full winter. Funny you raise this Talen, snow is a reason I’d consider moving back to London. Am sure after a day I’d be bored and longing for the year long summer of Thailand.

Cat, I’m really looking forward to the day…I can’t wait for the time when I can wake up in Thailand and wonder where I’ll be exploring today.

Snow is pretty but only when it’s on a Christmas card. At the rate it is snowing right now we will definitely have another 20 inches on the ground by tomorrow, as if 30 inches weren’t enough.
