Pattaya Dog Show Festival 2011

The Pattaya Dog Show Festival 2011 will be happening on March 18th through the 2oth at the Indoor Athletics Stadium, National Sports Centre East, Chaiyapruek Soi 2. The Tourism Authority of Thailand ( TAT ) in conjunction with the Kennel Club of Thailand and the Dogs Development Association of Thailand invite all dog owners to enter their dogs in the contest or just come and enjoy the competitions.

The Pattaya City and Dog Breeds Association hopes that the Pattaya Dog Show Festival will be much more than a competition; it hopes to educate the public in the appropriate ways to breed, train and raise dogs to an international standard. The show is aimed at all dog owners from the city dwellers in Bangkok to the rural farmers of Issan as well as the seasoned traveler and expat communities.

The Pattaya Dog Show Festival is an all breed event that will run similar to U.S. and U.K. international dog shows. It’s hoped that the Pattaya Dog Show Festival will one day be seen as a similar event in the the dog breeding/training show circuit. Some of the events during the dog show will include Top Dog, Top 20 All Breed, Top group and Overall Top Breed.
