And The Thai for Beginners iPhone App Winners Are…

Thai for Beginners on iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch

Thai for Beginners on iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch

The week is officially over and I would like to thank everyone for the many great comments on the Another Great Thai Language Giveaway post, all of which were added to a hat and 5 winners were dutifully selected by my beautiful assistant, Mun. You’ll have to believe me on the beautiful assistant part because unbeknownst to me she is seriously camera shy, to the point of threatening my life and other precious things if I even dared mentioned a camera. I suggested just of shot of her hand drawing the winners but seeing as she really didn’t understand why she was picking slips of paper from a hat she really didn’t care to hear about hand pictures much either.

Anyway, before I announce the winners of the Thai for Beginners iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch App I want to once again Thank Benjawan Poomsan Becker and Paiboon publishing for not only graciously giving away their hard work for free to my readers but also for taking the time to put together the most comprehensive Thai language learning products out there and continuing to update them all the time.

For those of you that didn’t win but are interested in Thai for Beginners or the excellent Thai/English – English/Thai Dictionary  please go to Paiboon Publishing and get them now, trust me you will not be disappointed and you’ll also find many more Thai and other related language products there to help you on your way.

And the Thai for Beginners Winners Are:

Grant

Nicol

Colin

SiamRick

Rambone

Congratulations to all the winners And thank you to all who participated, don’t worry if you didn’t win this time as there will be more giveaways in the future.

I’ll be sending all the winners an e-mail in a little bit with instructions for downloading the App…after I finish my BBQ coconut, I love food festivals :)

  6. Joe, Ramen what? :)

Yeah, the food festival would have killed the living like a Thai experiment in it’s tracks real fast if it would have been last month.

  7. Arch, I was so hoping your name would come out so you would have to get an iPod at least…it’s definitely worth it for the music alone.

  12. Why do I visions of my bar bill pregnant with Jack/Cokes and Sangsom/Cokes?

This prize winning may become exhausting.

  13. Talen,

Hope you don’t mind the contest plug for my site. I have a contest on my blog for free copies as well (I have four to give away). Since yours is over, perhaps anyone interested in still winning a copy can head over to mine?

  16. Rick, I promise I would never impregnate your bar bill and I will respect you in the morning …just don’t get me too drunk or the first part of the statement goes out the window.

  17. You snooty iPad people :P Do you have an iPad, Cat? I would love to have one but not quite sure it would do what I would want it too, on the other hand I can lounge in bed with internet and that might be cool.

  18. Yup. The iPad 2′s came to BKK and WHOOSH they were gone but I lucked out when a friend helped me cue jump.

The iPads are fabulous. You won’t regret getting one. The smaller i’s don’t even come close.

Oh, and expect a review of Thai learning apps on the iPad soon.

Btw: I have Thai for Beginners apps to give away (no surprise there). The promo codes have a time limit (being off-station, I’ve been sitting on them for some time) so the giveaway will be tomorrow.

  19. Working through the fog of a fever – yeah, I know, I’m shamefully pathetic when sick – I finished the Thai for Beginners iPhone iPad iPod App draw post early.

I won’t share the url because Talen’s blog has kindly attached it to my butt (below).

And if you don’t win one of those, I see that Josh has a apps to give away too.

Good luck all! It’s a good app to have.
