I have recently gotten in touch with my inner blogger, and cursed him out. After a monumental computer failure Friday night I thought I would have it easy for a while, until I imploded some databases that, it turns out, are very important. Repairing and rebuilding said databases is very tedious work especially if you have a photo gallery with over 6000 pictures in all.

Now that the databases are repaired and rebuilt I have the fun task of fixing incidentals. What incidentals you may ask? Oh, you know, the easy stuff like going through almost 2 years of posts and fixing links and re-linking photo’s and re-reading all the early stuff. At least I can tell I’ve gotten better at this because the first few posts leave a lot to be desired.

Anyway, while I’m having fun fixing the last year or so why don’t you check out the archives or the Gallery. I’ve actually upgraded the gallery and now albums can be viewed with PicLens by Coolris. A great photo gallery option that lets you see the album as a slide show in full screen and even in 3D if you so choose.

I’m hoping to have everything fixed by later tonight or tomorrow morning so I can get back to just writing!

Even though I had everything backed up problems still arose so if you are a blogger remember these words…Back Up Your Blogs! And you’ll still be pissed off when your back ups don;t do the job completely…but hey I didn’t lose the structure or words.
