I came across these interesting tree type things in 2007 and again in 2008 in Thailand. They really catch your eye from a distance as they are rather large. I know what they are do you?

It looks like corn cobs, so if it is, then they must be drying them. Or, feeding birds!

Aren’t those stacks of corn mush like what a haystack is? I think that’s what they do to dry corn.

I would guess it is a piece of ‘land art’. Maybe influenced by Andy Goldsworthy of Scotland. If it is just for drying corn it must at least be a religous icon or a ‘corn god’
