Songkran 2009…Amazing!

Songkran Pattaya

I was lucky enough to spend Songkran ( Thai New Year ) in 4 different provinces and let me tell you it was a Blast! I started off in Pattaya on day one of Songkran and then went to Mukdahan, That Phanome and Nakom Phanome.

There’s a lot more to write but for now just some serious fun pictures…I’ll write the story once I get back home…If I ever get back home! I took close to 1000 pictures and the camera survived!

Having a little difficulty with internet in the village so hopefully that will be fixed by tomorrow so I can share some of the other great pics I’ve taken and some great stories from the village.

Looks like great fun – shame all the turmoil keeps me from visiting right now. Thailand is up on my list of places to visit. Is the internet issues a result of the unrest?

I’m probably gonna get this wrong on the top photo but I reckon it was taken either on Soi Diana or 2nd Road. I’m going for Soi Diana although I could be miles out. The photos stir great memories and you’ve still got 981 to show. Enjoy.

Excellent sense of direction Martyn…I was indeed on Soi Diana. I was going to travel to soi’s 7 and 8 as well but the views were too good on soi Diana and I had a few very cute drinking buddies!
