Wat are you trying to say?

I had to test some things on the back end and needed a post so I figured pictures always work.

The photos on your site often do the same for me Monica.

Ah, now I’m getting the picture… this is a nice arrangement Talen. I’m quite partial to Wat shots but I don’t always know how to present them.

I have a passion for close ups (I just came back with a zillion doorknob shots) but I’m not sure just how they will come off.

Doorknobs cat? There must be a good story there.

I love Thai Wats, absolutely one of my favorite things to photograph.

The doorknob story was fun. But I’m afraid it was in Italy, not Thailand. So, that’s out for a WLT post.

(I will write about the region but I’m not sure Europe would work on a Thai blog…)

Talen, still running on about half a tank , but I think I am on the mend , just crawled out of bed for a look at blogging buddies and found these wonderful Wat Shots there for me to study and enjoy on the great blog site THAILAND LAND OF SMILES by TALEN , not only do the looks and brightness of the wats appeal to me , BUT all the labor that went into and still required, to build and maintain such great works of art , I call them “Wonders Of The World” and never tire of looking at them and I have to zoom everyone and take even closerlooks —-Thanks for the pictures . I have to agree with you Malcolm, they really are wonders of the world.

I never pass up a chance to see a Wat big or small and some of the smaller ones are just as impressive as the large ones.

    Get better soon Malcolm!

Wat Shots…Nice pun son. I remember you commenting something before about the wonderful skylines above some photos of Bangkok temples, correct me if my memory is wrong. The thing that immediately struck me with the photos above aside from their natural beauty is the differing shades of skyline shown. I counted nine contrasting skylines and my favourite is the real angry sky in the shot fourth down, centre. The cats and dogs must have arrived shortly after.

Martyn, That angry sky was actually a beautiful evening. The sun had just gotten below the horizon and the white clouds were darkened by the coming night. Made the shot look a little more interesting.
