Martyn, The Thai’s may be slow but the laser sure wasn’t.

I hope I can get my Pattaya sicknesses under control…my Buddha I have even stopped drinking alcohol!
I don’t want to keep taking antibiotics though because with my luck I’ll get the sniffles in a few months and die because my immune system is shot

Camille, It is an interesting place that takes all of 10 minutes to appreciate. Nong Nooch on the other hand is absolutely beautiful and a nice day trip.

Hi Talen, I too have been to Buddha Mountain and I’m sure it’s meant to be peaceful there. One day I’ll go back to check.

It was the last stop during the field trip from hell.

Eight days, where the host entertained with karaoke pretty much the entire time.

At high volume.

Nonstop.

On and off the bus (he had a portable mic). No quiet. For the whole time.

By Buddha Mountain my ears were ringing so I’m not sure if it was peaceful or not.

Talen I have been to Khao Chee Chan a couple of times during my Pattaya days and like you I can recommend it as a place well worth visiting. I read your original story and that’s amazing to think it only took two days to laser the image into the mountain. I thought people had bracketed Thais as slow workers.

I hope your chest cold gets better soon. Lots of Amoxicillin 500′s and a few shots of Sang Som might help matters.

It looks like an interesting place and a great escape from Pattaya for the day, to that extend, Nong Nooch Gardens sound like a nice place to visit.
