I’ve been going through a ton of photo’s ( over 1000 ) this weekend getting them ready for upcoming posts and while I consider myself an amateur photographer the subject matter really makes me feel like a pro. Because no matter what the circumstance it is almost impossible to not capture the beauty that is Thailand and South East Asia in general.
With the Loy Krathong festivities only hours away I didn’t want to get too wrapped up in writing today but I thought I would share some of my favorite photo’s I’ve taken in the last month that you will soon be reading about.
Enjoy!

Awesome photos Talen. I’m just learning about photography recently and can only hope to match your skills someday. Can’t wait to see what else you have in store for us!
Steve´s last blog ..What effect does age have on a relationship
Steve, Appreciate the kind words but I am truly an amateur…it’s easy to take great pictures when the subject matter is so good…the pictures almost take themselves.
Ok maybe that’s true Talen, but it still must be fun to see the end result and the pictures are still beautiful…somehow I think the photographer has something to do with that

Steve´s last blog ..What effect does age have on a relationship
Steve, it’s always fun to see the end result and sometimes surprising. I often wonder how some shots turned out so good.
I know what kind of shot I am looking for but I think the camera plays the biggest role.
I’m impressed by these pictures as well Talen. I just don’t get how people know what to snap. I look at pictures and they seem really cool; they are scenes that I wouldn’t even imagine photographing. I think some people see interesting things everywhere but it has to be quite obvious for me to whip out the camera.
Paul Garrigan´s last blog ..Happy Loy Kratong
Thanks Paul…I always look for the odd view for pictures and for some reason the weirdest things will interest me for a photo.
Plus I usually have a camera on me and for every interesting picture I may take there are easily 100 or more boring pics.
Very very nice photos, Talen. It seems to me your most recent pix are some of your best. Good equipment helps, doesn’t it? But more important is you have a really good eye for composition.
We can catch up in Pattaya this week!
SiamRick´s last blog ..Taking the plunge into Thai language school
Rick, The new Camera ( Sony A330 ) definitely helps more than you can imagine.
Can’t wait to meet up this week…call me when you know your plans.
