Samui Bike Week 2011

Samui Bike Week 2011

The International Samui Bike Week 2011 will be taking place at Chaweng Lake on May 6th & 7th this year. Sponsored by the Tourism Association of Koh Samui, the Koh Samui Municipality and the Tourism Authority of Thailand the International Samui Bike Week has been building a great reputation as yet another great bike week in the region.

Last year Samui Bike Week saw over 1000 riders in attendance as well as a lot of great vintage and custom bikes. It’s hoped that this year attendance records will rise as more people are made aware of Samui Bike Week.

As with all the regional Bike weeks there will be loads of things to do and see as well as many industry and manufacturers reps on hand selling gear and bikes. The Theme for this years Samui Bike Week will be ” The Ride for Peace and Environment”.

Samui Bike Week is a part of social responsible project, which is “The Riding for Peace and Environment”. The aim is to gathering loving riders to show their power, spirit and unity. This is for riding together peacefully among different people and different nations. Then after the festival, we will donate some parts of the income to The Green Island Project for sustainable conveniences and promoting the greening our Koh Samui, greening our world.

Talen, it’s now looking like there’s a lot of bike weeks in Thailand. How many are there throughout the year? In total.

Five bike weeks is a fair amount. Seems the bikers keep busy either riding their bikes to the events or having their bikes trucked over to ride when there.
